About the CVC
Located at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) in Boston, the Cancer Vaccine Center (CVC) is developing new vaccines for treating people with cancer. The CVC is committed to excellence in scientific discovery, preclinical vaccine development and clinical application.
Focused on fostering efficient and effective collaboration, the CVC is bringing together laboratory and clinical scientists with wide-ranging expertise, providing them with access to leading edge technology and facilities. In this way, the CVC simultaneously supports scientific discovery, preclinical vaccine development and clinical investigation.
This coordinated effort greatly facilitates the rapid translation of new approaches for vaccine development into careful clinical assessment in patients with cancer. It allows the CVC to learn from the results of treatment in patients enrolled in these clinical trials.
